16 and 17 May - Barcelona (Part 2)

May 16th - explored the Gothic section of Barcelona including Barcelona Cathedral, Picasso Museum, market, and did some shopping.

May 20th - Toured Monastery at Montserrat, home of the Black Madonna. amazing sites and terrain. Rode a cog train to the top, hiked some, attended a boys choir, and said some prayers.

May 20th - Really liked Barcelona. Great sites and lots to see, friendly people. The food was great and inexpensive...less than $100 for a great meal including a bottle of wine!

Just arrived in Budapest (I was impressed with Iberia Airlines...very efficient and good meals...and our luggage made it during a 55 minute transfer ) for last part of the trip...will start Uniworld river cruise tomorrow to Passau.
