Had a great kayak trip on one of the Amazon tributaries.



This the end of the drought period, during the rainy season (Nov to April) the Amazon will fill to the level of the houses in the pictures...about 40 feet!



Evening drink making, snacks, band on the deck (Chucky Monkey) and calm sunset!

Great adventure, Skip! Joanne has to be one heck of a trooper; I am pretty sure Marsha would kick my tail if I even suggested a trip to the Amazon! And that's before even thinking of swimming with the piranha!
